Sweetness

I love that I could capture some sweetness as a picture to share...

After a nice bath today (she likes the warm water poured over her, and is liking the bath more and more), we tried to get some new pictures so you can see how Aurie's growing. She's filling out a bit...no rolls quite yet :) but definitely filling in. Her skin is so heavenly soft and wonderful to nuzzle. (My favorite is her cheek and neck.) Ellie commented when feeling her feet that they were "so soft!" (How cute that she would take note.) I adore the little outfit we put her in for these, the ruffle, and the toile...too pretty (thank you Nana!). She really does look so much like Ellie and Lia as babies and there are so many times I look down at her and think I could be holding either of them.

Ellie is showing off a latest drawing (they are getting more intricate). She's so full of questions right now...layers of why's after you answer the first! Sometimes its interesting trying to explain in her language and understanding why something is so.

Here, Lia's makin' her favorite...a cheese "sammich". (Observe the dramatic facial expression while surprised the cheese isn't there). She really is very dramatic- hands and everything. And, as I've said, the substitute of w's for l's makes it sound so cute. Yesterday, when taking the gang to school to see everyone, I heard a 'thunk', and knew pretty much someone's juice cup fell to the ground in the car. So I ask Lia- that wasn't your cup, was it Lia? She very dramatically holds her hands wide and says, " I pud it in the middow, and I lost it." I had a hard time being mad...she sounded too cute! :)
