4 years old today! We had a nice day, just us. She was surprised by balloons (hidden in the closet) in the morning, and had fun opening her presents...one of which, her scooter, was one she had asked for. I had thought to surprise her, and went to buy it while she was napping last week, but don't you know it, mommy messes up and she sees the box in the garage. She did love it anyway, and zoomed around the house right away. She chose going to the "jumpy place" as her fun thing to do today, so off we went. Afterwards, we stopped at a dance supply store where Ellie tried on her first ballet and tap shoes. You should have seen her eyes light up when she heard that tap! :) She jumped up and started walking around the little tiled surface they had there. I know she'd love tap. I remember it being my favorite. We had stopped in to watch a dance class before we left the gym where we go to jump, to show her what was in store. We had been talking about going to dance lessons, and with Nan's help, Ellie starts next month! :) Thank you Nana.... mommy's going to be a mess- I already had tears in my eyes while she was just trying the shoes on! A nice lunch at home with daddy, fun on our scooter, and popsicles and cupcakes after dinner rounded out a nice birthday day. Happy birthday my beautiful girl!
