The Gawryk Girls: Happy (belated) Valentine's Day!

A little post Valentine's Day catch up :) Really, I had these pictures beforehand, but didn't want to spoil the surprise coming in the mail for our special friends and loved ones. These pictures were so much fun to take! Ellie and Lia are in their dance costumes...getting use out of them since we're going to be out of town for the recital. Aurie's we found the headband and tutu, and I added a "tube"top (it's the neck from a turtleneck!) I had set up Aurie's room with multiple lamps- had this in mind as a backdrop for these pictures since I stenciled it. They all looked so darn cute...I kept telling them, oh Nana's gonna eat you right up! (which resulted in some fabulous grins!) It was so fun to 'hear' everyone's reactions on Facebook when I posted the main picture on Valentine's Day :) Love that everyone loved it as much as I do. I feel so, so lucky to be able to 'play' dress up with my beloved dollies :)

I swear, I could have taken a bite right out of Lia...

Ellie was funny...she had all kinds of poses she wanted me to get. Shhh...don't tell her, thought it turned out alright, her costume was not high on my favorite list. All the moms at dance were a bit surprised by its maturity, the day they brought them out.

I adored this one, the way it turned out- kind of vintage.

Here's Lia at her library preschool class. (third over from the right, on the floor) She continues to love going, and is very independent about the whole deal now. You can hear her nowadays often saying "It's no fair, Ellie gets to go to school"...she's very eager.
