"Oh no, I won't go in that pool. It's too little. It's for babies." Yeah, right. Mommy knew better ;)
So here's Aurie showing off her crawling skills, with a slight handicap...her dragging pajama leg (sorry baby- your legs were too long, and mommy cut the toes off your jammies!)
And then, the first a few a few glimpses of things that have surprised us. Guess it shouldn't, after watching Lia develop quicker than Ellie did, and now Aurie has two examples to watch, but still... a ten month old that turns pages of books and colors? (Here she's a bit tee'd 'cause the book's stuck under her leg.) We love to hear her say mama and dada already too!
And then, there's Lia's birthday surprise from Nana... the girls now recite it verbatim :) (Sorry it's sideways!)
(Nana says it'll only play one hundred times, but I'm not so sure! ;)
I have to tell a bit about Lia lately too, before it goes away. We remember Ellie saying some particular words in a cute way, and Lia's followed suit, but with words all of her own. Cupcakes are 'hup-cakes', which is fun to hear, and a favorite :) 'G' seems to play a big role...don't know why. There's 'ga-bloons' (balloons) and 'ga-tending' (pretending). Then there's 'ganana' (banana) and she had me laughing all the way home from the grocery store the other day when I offered, "Lia, 'buh-...banana'" to which she tried..."buh-ganana" (say that real fast together...that's how she did it.) :) HA!
