Happy Birthday Ellie!

Ellie's softball picnic and award presentation. Ellie received the title 110% effort award :)

We took advantage of a beautiful day to visit to local county fair...

The fair was a perfect chance for us to finally experience a "banana split". The girls had been obsessed with the idea of it, and I suspected had no idea really, what it was. We ordered one for each of Aurie and Ellie who chose it as their treat (Lia had a smoothie by choice!).

 What a great nap…poolside!

We are so thankful for our thoughtful Aunt Tracy who spoils us each birthday!

Enjoying a nearby splash pad on a fairly warm day…hard to find this summer!

First Day of School! Ellie entering 2nd grade, Lia entering 1st, and Aurie going to Preschool

Our little experiment.. a "real"coconut… (Again, an obsession- they kept asking, at the grocery store, and mommy finally caved in)

Mommy's big project..

Found this at school about Lia at Curriculum Night

A little forest hike

Our panda girl..

Came to Preschool to find Aurie's picture :)

An Elsa cape mommy made for pretending...

Lunch with my big girl, and moments at school...

Ellie's birthday morning, opening some goodies from mommy and daddy, and Aunt Tracy and Uncle Jeff...

We stopped to admire some sunflowers in the garden at Aurie's Preschool…we attempted at growing our own from seed this year. No luck!

 Lia in computers :)

Up late making the cake…strange visitors!

The big day..Ellie's birthday party. Her self-conceived cake, created by mommy- a Mario Kart racetrack.

The glow bracelet clad group of friends from Ellie's school who had fun mostly racing around upstairs, but stopped to play the Wii at moments, color some Princess Peach and Mario coloring pages and had a brief girls chase the boy game in the backyard…it was a success :)
