Happy 3rd Birthday Aurie!
No, not really, but she doesn't know that! Since we were in town with so many family members, we decided to celebrate daddy's as well as Aurie's birthdays at Grandma's. Aurie had a ladybug 'party' and had lots of fun with her sisters and cousin..
We had fun with punch balloons and noisemakers. Ladybug antennae were our party hats..
Cute, Uncle Jeff! ;)
Soooo nice to see Miss Tracy and Anevay..we miss them!
We did a ladybug craft and opened ladybug treat boxes...
Little water squirters inside our treat bags were perfect for making grandpa laugh! :)
Da ta da da!!! "The"wedding...
Such a pretty church..
Even the houses surrounding it... (shhh..)
Enjoying each other's company at the William Penn...
The girls were most likely dumbfounded...ice cream (sorbet) during dinner?
Some bubble blowing..
Fun with Uncle Jeff..
I'm hoping to get in touch with the photographer, who took a nice family picture... stay posted..
The day after, while everyone went to the baseball game, the girls and I hit the local theater for Monsters U...
And then, we took off early Sunday morning, for a day in Kennywood...
Waiting for the rides to start, watching a car ride test out the cars..
Lia's first real ride by herself..was kind of funny, since she was somewhat hesitant (and you never really know, with Lia), and what she thought were just simple little cars that ran around an oval track were actually "The Whip"...after that first bend, her face registered surprise, but thankfully, she really got into it and enjoyed herself after that!
Kiddieland was a big hit...with Ellie and Lia.
Aurie really wanted to ride..and tried several times, but had no luck following through.
So, she watched...
We all loved the games...especially the ones with guaranteed prizes! But Lia actually won one, you'll see below...
Yes, it's a garbage can. We told Lia how she used to talk to these guys, when we were at Kennywood before..
After a nice nap, Aurie started loosening up. We enjoyed some rides as a family- here, the Turtle, and I think after that, the kiddie rides seemed much smaller...
...because then, when we returned to Kiddieland, someone went crazy!!
Ellie and Daddy coming down the Log Jammer (mommy had a turn with her too!)
Our darlings laughing like loons :)
