Sadly, I think this is the longest I've gone without updating our blog. Many reasons- the biggest being my having gone back to work full time. Certainly takes a lot of free time away. So...here's a couple of months, in a flash ;)
Ellie had been attending Canyon Breeze, headed by a previous colleague of mine, Mr. Burns, just in the mornings. She did like it, though we had trouble every morning, in dropping her off. She cried most mornings. This was a school wide assembly that we attended with her for a program they followed called Kids at Hope, and she was to dress like something she wanted to be when she grew up (just an excuse to wear ballerina attire, really :) )
We went to the boys' house for a birthday party- Aurie had fun decorating her own cupcake along with the big kids...
Glendale Glitters was a fun evening- the girls rode these giant stuffed animals. The highlight though (aside from the junk food) were the dancers- Ellie and Lia were entranced.
Grandma and Grandpap came to visit, and we spent time at Uncle Jeff and Miss Tracy's house. Miss Tracy had all kinds of neat stuff for the girls to do...
Lia, teaching her stuffed animals... uh oh- I used to do the same thing...
And Ellie, at her new school, with mommy. Good news is- not a tear. She loves it!
And I have to say, I love it just as much :)
