Kiss anyone?

But I taste like strawberries... :) Come on...just one little pucker...
How darned sweet is that teeny pointed finger...she's been doing that a lot lately. And this mushing strawberries to a pulp has been a fun new thing. She loves mushy pears, canteloupe and strawberries. We've been adventuring into the real deal, no net, and she's been doing really well with it. Can't figure out what she likes more...the taste, eating it or the mess! :) (Must be mommy's daughter!) She also just got her first tooth this past week, though it's a devil to get to see it!
Lia had fun pretending ('tendin') to feed Aurie one day when she was playing in her seat while mommy was working in the kitchen. It was all fun and games until the spoon went in a little too far...oops.

Princess in Training...

Poor Aurie...Lia loves those cheeks of hers. Ellie warns one day in the car this week, "Mommy, Lia's touching Aurie" (because Aurie was sleeping) and I asked her what she was doing, and Lia says, "I'm just checking her lips." Too cute!
My cuties at a birthday party this weekend. They had so much fun on the bouncy, and Ellie loved the train (Lia bailed before it started out). Of course, cake is always a party favorite too (especially Miss Amy's cakes!) I was relieved to be able to borrow a camera since I had forgotten mine...thank you Am!

Check out that star jump! :) (At least, that's what Ellie tells us it's called.) (That's the birthday boy with them, Vinnie. He's sweet on Lia which is fun to watch on our playdates.) This past month Ellie's been going to "Gym n' Learn" where she does preschool type things for a bit, and then gymnastics directly following. She loves it, and I am having fun hearing her stories about what they've done and Lia and I get to watch her a bit at the end since the gym has a viewing area. I've been so proud of her. She has such great body awareness and is a great listener. She's pretty much the one to always be asked to be the first to do things after the teacher demonstrates (I think because she's the only one who can do what is being shown.)
