Merry Christmas to All!

How's that for Christmas legs? :) More about Ellie's concert below..

Seriously, 'bite'able cheeks :) Aurie loved sitting herself into this open cupboard at Uncle Jeff and Miss Tracy's house.

Couldn't help but take multiple shots of one of my fav passed down outfits... I see Aurie in it, and it's like yesterday that I can see/remember Ellie in it- so tiny and adorable :)

We took the girls over to a nearby park during a visit over Thanksgiving week, while Grandma and Grandpap, Auntie Jen and Uncle Mike were visiting. The girls, of course, had a blast...

Aurie discovered she loves whipping cream :)

(Can you tell, we love those kitties?)

And then, the day arrived that after many years of watching the Kindergarten Winter program with tears in my eyes with my friends at school, it was my turn to have my baby, up there singing. I have to say, even the thought right now gets me emotional, though the actual evening didn't affect me as much (too much going on in the audience to keep me distracted! :)) But, it was fun, and she liked it. We had fun hearing her sing the songs for a few weeks beforehand. Her favorite was their version of The Twelve Days of Christmas- The Twelve Days of an Arizona Christmas, the last part, "and a wren in a palo verde tree", being her favorite line :)

She looked kind of like an elf with this too-big hat on her head :)

And Aurie, after making a one time run for the stage, decided it was her duty, to wash the gymnasium floor. (Kept her busy :))

We were happy to have company, to watch our cutie, Auntie Carol and Uncle Al...nice way to bring in the Christmas season- there were plenty of cute Kindergarten moments- there was one boy who would hold onto the last word/note of each stanza who cracked the whole audience up.

And then we rounded up the cuties (outfits complements of Auntie Carol..)

Some fun on the stage...

So, my darling princess couldn't help but notice, the night before at the Kindergarten performance, that all the other girls had their princess dresses on... (talk about break mommy's heart- Ellie, who would sleep in a fancy dress, if allowed, missed out on a golden opportunity) Mommy's solution- princess dress at school the next day :) She was the only one, which made her feel all the more special :)

Our Christmas card photo shoot...No perfect shots here, but darling grins and a gorgeous background...
 A snuck-in cousin picture...

 My little dolly...

 My ballerina..

And, the cutest of them all....(you didn't hear me say that ;)

So bummed this one wasn't exactly clear...what a sweet daddy moment..
