What a beautiful day with our family. We had a fun time in the pool yesterday morning, showing daddy all of our smooth moves. This is the girls dancin' while mommy gets ready.
At the pool, Lia was so funny with her first try at water wings. I've never known a kid to laze...she got her bearings quickly with them, and turned the baby pool into her own lazy man river. It looked so hilarious! Then, when daddy got there, we all went into the "big" pool, which they both loved. We did have to remove the water wings (not allowed I guess), but they still loved it. Lia was jumping off the side into my hands, and was so excited each time. She was quite a wiggler and just was a-kickin' and flippin' around. I loved nibbling her darling little arms...Ellie had fun being thrown up into the air by daddy (what a workout!), and basically being carried around like a princess. It was just such a nice way to keep cool, and enjoy each other. Poor Lia, who doesn't put up much of a fuss when leaving something, was really upset and cried. Good thing about the sun and water.... long naps! :)
Today, the girls joined daddy outside to wash the cars and had a blast (though they lost interest quick!).
Running up and down the gutter was so much more fun! :)
(Mommy and the baby are progressing, by the way, week by week, and we're waiting for an any minute happening :)
