Last night's 6.4 inches allowed us some last of the season (I hope!) snow play. They're definitely getting more used to this. At the beginning of the winter, it was perhaps 10 minutes before they were all in. Now, they toughed it out (Lia and Ellie at least) until mommy was done the driveway. They have a lot of fun with this snowman kit from Auntie Kim... and hey- that, and the snowpants and snow boots, were actually needed.
- Aurie's cute voice calling her gloves, "glubs"
- though it's becoming obsolete (knock on wood) Aurie had been known to regularly come to our bed. Usually, the line is, "Well there's no room for you in here baby". So, when told Bill was getting ready to 'go on the airplane', she spouts out, "Oh good..I can sleep on daddy's side!" (poor daddy! )
- Ellie, in the car on the way to school, we were chatting about things at school, and I commented that I hadn't heard much of a new friend, Emma V, lately, and asked about her. So Ellie says, "Well I only comment about interesting things." (Poor Emma V! And paaaarrrdooon us!)
