Indianapolis Museum of Art...we went over for a peek for mommy's chosen birthday adventure. It was neat- I liked the girls' reaction to it. Of course, the actual walk through was more like 'drive-by art', which for some of it (the contemporary) was just fine. (I mean, how can you compare a gorgeous Degas to millions of tiny plastic figurines holding up plexiglass? (pic 6))

Lowe's Kids'Activity...we've tried out two of these activities. Notice the board room table that we certainly didn't leave the same, as when we came in. (Well I didn't hand three small children real deal hammers and nails!) OOps. But, they had a great time, and it was nice to give them a chance to actually like coming to the dreaded "building store". Here, we made little carriages from Shrek, and the next one was Chuckee Cheese ball games.

 Front Yard Fun...no comment :)

Dance Class...I'm just loving taking them. Chose costumes for the recital last week- Lia's gonna be stuffed into more pink, tulle and sparklies than I think we own altogether, which is hard to believe. Let's just hope she's not as ornery by the end of this year as she is now....cause good luck getting her to wear that! :)

Storytime at the Library...my attempt at yet one more activity to get Lia comfortable to be more independent. Technically, she's coming in on her own for the first bit and we come 'help' with the craft. Mmm hmmm...we'll see.

Ellis Park...definitely sung as all of what Bill and I spoke about wanting to give the girls growing up. No, not just the park, but the whole sha-bang- green, trees, grass, streams, tadpoles, paths through woods, cool breezes (sad, sad that all Aurie kept doing was going around the park saying, mommy, it's not hot, at the various pieces of equipment) . It was glorious. No doubt we'll be back for picnics, tadpole catching, and there's even a sledding hill!

One comfy Kitty... who likes us still, eats our food, but I'm not sure will ever be "ours". Sedona is not too thrilled to hang out inside, even when coerced during rainy days. We'll see about that one too...
