Well here are two qualifying contestants! :) No sooner than about 15 minutes pass in the morning, than pjs are off and "princess dresses" are requested. I think they spend more time in them, or similar ones, than in regular clothes. Lia now pretty much only wears a dress when we go out...I have a drawerful of shorts and t-shirts that hardly get worn. I know, it's my own fault (Bill says!), and I guess I should be thrilled...here are the baby girls I wanted so bad, being the girlie girls I wanted so bad...watch what you wish for! ;)
And then there's my baby love... couldn't you just nibble any of those baby parts?
(I do! on a regular basis.)
And, my big girl...kindergarten bound in two weeks...who says the other night when going to bed that she doesn't want to go to Kindergarten..."I don't want to go to Kindergarten...it'll take forever." What do you mean, Ellie? "I have enough classes. I have ballet, and gymnastics, and swimming lessons. I don't need any more classes." (Hmmm...she hasn't attended ballet and gymnastics all summer) I know she's going to do great, and love it- I think we're just a little nervous about the unknown... hard to not feel for her since mommy's heart hurts at the thought of her starting kindergarten too!

What an 'Aurie' look... She's so funny now that she's so communicative. And, we love hearing her go off and play and then crack herself up or make proud of herself noises when she pushes a button or something like that and sees the reaction. (She loves buttons!) She has a 'mommy', 'daddy' and 'Ellie' sound, that we recognize though to others it may not be clear enough. What is clear is her 'hi', which I had to laugh, she gave to me lolling on the nursing pillow this morning, in the dark, with a little wave.
