Hoppy Easter!

silly little baby ;)

Now how cute are those little ruffly bums?

We love birthday parties!

Nana, I have to tell you, we got oodles of compliments over the girls'darling suits!

Aurie's munchin'on a twizzler! (with the wrapper!)

And then, Easter arrived. We scooted over to 11 o'clock mass after enjoying hunting for eggs in the morning amid lots of squeals and chocolate munching (and a lovely french toast breakfast, I might add :). The girls, here, are waiting after mass, to go into the courtyard to join in the egg hunt there. Not sure if you can see, but in the next picture, the grass is literally covered with eggs. Aurie loved watching the balloons all strung in a line on the outsirts.

So here goes Lia, 3 and under got to go in first...

So then, after 20 seconds, the rest of the crowd of kids got to go. I tell you, it was like locusts, sucking up every egg in sight as the throng made their way across the courtyard. The girls couldn't run fast enough. You can see Lia two pictures down, coming back, without any more. It was so sad :) What a look! (Apparently, earned her enough sympathy that a lady with a big basket came over with some reserved eggs and gave her a few.)

Checking out the spoils...

This 'lean in' is the result of "Girls, get together and let mommy take your picture." And then, Lia grabs Ellie's head (next one)...thanks guys...

(The best one mommy could get :)

Ooooo....Ahhhhhh....

So pretty, this princess. Princessing has gone to a whole new level in our house lately..."fancy" dresses from our closet are being browsed and at any one moment, you will find Ellie and Lia in one or another.

First two teeth! (It's my arm, people...)

One morning after coloring them, the girls decided they wanted to eat an Easter egg for breakfast. (Weird!) So, we did...with toast.

Whew! Boy these guys shuffle me around a lot! It's exhausting...

Darlin' Lia... showin' off her bunny dress... (whenever you say 'how pretty!' she holds the ends of the skirt out like this)

Life's Blessings

Sad for many people the last few days, and counting my blessings. It's difficult at times, to see past our own little piece of the world, our own daily tasks. My heart is feeling so sad for friends, and loved ones, and I've  been reminded to appreciate every moment. I love you my babies...

A backyard lunch picnic...

(Is anyone looking?)

(Some latest projects... plain tees- all dolled up. Another blessing...girly girls. I will try not to complain about strewn tutus again.)

Ellie's latest performance day...
